Dear All,
Applications were invited for grant of 25 lakhs for projects in the specified subjects of pigmentation, hair and photobiology. The blinded application was evaluated in the IADVL-L’Oreal Indian Hair and Skin Research Grant-2018 jury meeting, which was held on 5th November 2017 in Mumbai and was chaired by Dr Yogesh Marfatia (President, IADVL).
The jury members were Dr. Yogesh Marfatia , Dr Sunil Dogra (Editor, IDOJ), Dr Chitra Nayak (Convener, IADVL PG Education Taskforce), Dr Deepika Pandhi (Convener Elect, IADVL Academy of Dermatology), Dr Anupama Wagle (Head, Instrumental & Clinical Evaluation, L’Oreal R&I India), Dr Stéphane Commo (Lab Manager, Life Sciences, L'Oréal Clichy, France), Dr Thierry Passeron (Professor & Chairman, Dept. of Dermatology, University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, Nice, France) and Dr Michèle Verschoore (Medical Director, L'Oréal R&I, Paris, France) (the latter three in absentia).The members who had a conflict of interest recused themselves from the discussion and scoring of projects. Dr. Ramesh Bhat, Dr. Ameet Valia, Dr. Seetharam K, Dr. Umashankar, Dr. Shashikumar B and Dr. Resham Vasani were observers.
